I like the last panel. Looking to the left is a sign of lying, actually.
It’s down and to the left that’s the indicator for lying. I believe that up and to the right is the indicator for remembering.
Still, some people do just look to the left, since looking down and left is very unnatural and isn’t done instinctively.
This is getting sinister…
