I’m not entirely certain where you got the idea that Crystal is adopted, but I apologize for the confusion. Crystal is not adopted, nor is Sylvia her sister. Sylvia’s father is Dante, the head of the house staff.
Wait… You didn’t tell us Sylvia had to do something for her dad! What does she have to do? Also, your comic just gets better and better! So i have to say, good luck on the other pages!
(I might reveal some of the story line again) Sylvia must be magically bound to the servant life therefore she has no say in what her future is while Crystal has the “freedom” to choose where her life goes, if you call her parents wanting for her to marry Malcolm “freedom”. Bet you guys forgot about that little bit.
Possibly, peder, but magic may have nothing to do with it. Some real-life human societies have a pretty rigid class structure, whereby the class into which you’re born determines the range of options you will (or won’t) have in life, and there’s no reason this can’t be true of a fictional elvish society as well.
that’s true. I didn’t think about that Andy4Hire (sorry trying hard not to laugh at ur name, honestly wining the battle) But i’m sure Pete didn’t base an entire UNIQUE culture on a human concept. And also my theory still has some probability, Mike and Fawn with the spirit bond or what ever it’s called. There could be a spell that has linked Sylvia into the servant position, not just because her father is the butler.
Also, children of butlers could possibly out class those of high birth.
I realized you haven’t been making very many pages in the last couple of days. I assume it’s because you don’t have any ideas, i do, tell us what’s up with Danyel.
wait crystals adopted???????
or is sylvia just her younger sister or something?

oh that makes a lot more sense! thanks pete! (really)

See my above response to the other comment for clarification.
Thank you!
Sylvia seems really unhappy. Maybe Francis should bring her some cookies.
I HEARD MY NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME!

No, it’s because my life is very busy at the moment. Read the newest blog post on the home page for details.
Forget Danyel. We want Francis and Cookies. I bet the elf lord loves cookies. It could be a bonding experience for Mike and him.
Mike still never paid back the person he had to. I mean, this whole times he’s been working. Shouldn’t he be paying him back now?
