Okay I don’t get Fitzbottom here. From what I have seen both magic and the bard arts require emotion and logic.
For magic learning and using spells requires a lot of studying and control of emotion which seems to put on the logic side, but on the other hand he did tell Mike that intuition and emotion are important in magic.
For bards emotion is a bit more clear in that you can’t really be a good performer if you lack emotions, but learning how to act sing and draw also takes study and understanding beyond just displaying the right feelings.
