Yay, adult characters behaving like adults. How refreshing! I feel like Crystal is getting much more fleshed out as a character since she and Mike broke up. I think this is cool.
It’s funny because they’re teenagers, but I agree that the breakup did help add more depth to their relationship and worldview on a whole. But then again, we hardly have scenes of Crystal post-breakup, since Mike jumped straight into Danyel’s subplot, which was due to said break-up.
They’re barely teenagers anymore, though. They’re in college 😛 Even if they’re 18, that’s not the same as 13. But yeah, I think it’s cool that even though we haven’t seen her, her character still grows 😀
