What the… You skipped over all of the good bits! Where was all of the legal dialogue and political posturing? You skipped over all the fun bureaucracy that Kris got to talk about.

I hope you’re not serious… you realize that if I was to do that, we’d have about 2 or 3 weeks of just Kris talking, right? And the comic is already suffering pacing issues as it is. I’m just trying to move the story along a little quicker so we can get to the good stuff.

If you WERE just joking, sorry to get all serious on you, it’s hard to tell from text comments.

A montage or something would’ve been nice

Okay, I don’t want to be a crank about this, but here’s the situation I’m in… If I was to show every little nuance and detail of the story, it would drag the storyline out a lot longer, and I’d get comments about how slow moving it is (it’s happened to me in the past). And when I try to keep things moving, I’m getting feedback that I’m going too fast. I’m caught between a rock and hard place here.

I’m doing the best that I can to give you guys an update once a week without making it boring; I want the updates to be worth your time. In this case, I don’t see how a strip of Kris rehashing what he already said months ago (http://www.bardsworth.com/?comic=the-wrong-kind-of-help) would be worth anyone’s time – either mine to draw it or yours to read it.

Again, I’m not trying to be a crank about this, but I want you guys to see that I’m trying to make as good of a decision as I can. If I was getting the support that I need to bring the comic back to multiple updates a week, that might change things, but for now I have keep the pacing from dragging from week to week.

No worries – we already went over the relevant laws and history behind them, so I don’t think we really need a repeat. Besides, I get the distinct impression that this is not going to be resolved via courtroom drama. 😉

I’m not trying to justify anything, I just want people to understand that there are reasons for my decisions, and that I’m not trying to cheat anyone out of anything. Sorry if I sounded overly defensive; I generally just let comments go, but I get like that every 6 months or so. It’s the curse of being a Cancer.
