Mike’s eye looks a bit odd in that last panel. Not talking about the bloodshot in the eye (assuming that’s from him being tired from maintaining the illusion for so long), but the left (to us, far right for him) side of his eye looks odd, almost as though his eyeball is partly protruding from his skull. Regardless, looking forward to what’ll be discussed next Thu!

Eh, I was trying to go for the lidded/shadowed look that comes with being overtired. Guess it didn’t work.

His eyes are bloodshot from all of the concentration.

He’s going to ask, “What did I do that was so impossible?” 🙂

I know many demons throughout literature are self-purported masochists, but suppressing their own ability to heal faster for the sake of battle?

There’s hardcore, and then there’s HARDCORE.

Side question – Was the suppression range ever clarified? I originally got the impression that it covered all of the demons’ domain, but I don’t currently have time to go back and check.

That question will be clarified in the next strip. 🙂
