It might still be, Viking ZX. We never see the full title or the author’s name, and you’ll notice it wasn’t Pete who said it was The Elements.
Whatever’s on the second line appears to be the tops of two F’s, two E’s, or one of each, separated by a space, though. It’s not clear whether that’s part of the title or the author’s name or what, but you wouldn’t find that configuration in either “Tom Lehrer” or “Melody Malone.”
Pete? Any light you want to shed here, or do we have to wait until you’re back from taking a break?
You’re not going to be happy with the answer, but it says “The Elements of Elements”. I was just scrambling to come up with a throwaway book title and went with that. It was after the fact that I realized I should have gone with “The Elements of Harmony”. Oh well.
At first, I thought what I liked best about this strip was the way Mike seems to be channeling Keira. But then I decided that it was the way, rather than being startled clear out of his socks, Kris only registers mild surprise, as though Mike still caught him off-guard but really he’s getting used to this sort of thing.
hahhahahahaha!
What’s that book that Kris’s reading?
The Elements, by Tom Lehrer. 😉
Awww … In my head it read “The Eleventh Doctor” by Melody Malone

Another page of Kris reading a book.
But this time has a great twist ending. 🙂
No bookworm is safe when Mike is around

Damnit. I caught up.
I get that a lot.
Join the club. 🙂
Not if you’re going to do that, I didn’t! lol
