Pete, can I ask what the frequency is on updates for this comic? They seem a bit infrequent, and I’d love to see more of the story more often (I’m sure I’m not alone in this)

I get this question or a variation of it probably every six months or so. Because of the time that I have to put into making a decent looking strip, the comic updates once a week on Thursdays. I would more than love to update on a more frequent basis, but because Bardsworth does not bring in a significant amount of money, I need to focus on other projects for additional income streams.

If you’d like to help Bardsworth reach a point where I can do more than one update a week, you can consider becoming a patron on Patreon and spreading the word – https://www.patreon.com/bardsworth

I always hate having to answer this question because I feel like I’m saying “I’m in this for the money”, but the truth is that after almost ten years, I kind of am. I started this comic when it was just me and my wife, and she was in school at the time so I had all sorts of free time to work on it, and I had a well-paying day job. Now I have a son, no day job to speak of, and I’ve got other artistic endeavors to worry about.

But again, I truly want to update this more frequently. I just haven’t figured out a way to make it work yet.

That’s definitely a question I’ve been having for a while but I had a feeling it was already answered somewhere so I was afraid to ask! Thank you for still devoting the time it takes to put this comic out even once a week, I follow a lot of online comics so I totally get the work that goes into it and how hard it can be to compensate for that (money-wise I mean). I always feel so helpless because I love the comic and I would love to become a Patreon, however I’m two years into a university program that’ll last at least 7 years and I’m already broke as hell. If you do end up coming up with another way to fund or promote Bardsworth and it’s something I can contribute to I will definitely do so!
Thank you for putting so much work into this comic, I hope to be reading it well into the future =)

A woman in a nearby town just won the $310 million jackpot of a lottery. I figured that if I had won, I would donate/gift/employ you for your comic work. But with a large sum like that a bit of dreaming is to be expected.
