     Um…yeah. I don’t think it’s an “excuse”. Imagine a white man dating a black woman in the 1950s in the united States. And then remember that Danyel’s family are high ranking nobles, who obviously adhere to their society’s bonds (since his father told Mike that Crystal would be stripped of her status and become a servant if she stayed with him).

     And then imagine what that society would do to Sylvia if she dared to date a high-ranking, full blood elf.
