I have a feeling that Fitzsimmons is going to be a little bit loopy…

New theory: This is a parallel universe where the two worlds’ histories have switched. He is still in the same world as Bardsworth, but “Bardsworth world” had the scientific revolution instead of Earth, and Earth had the Magic revolution! Other Mike is from the Magic world and discovered the magical tear between the realms and is now in the Science realm.

That explains everything! I can’t believe I didn’t think of it earlier!

That is quite the concept MikeyZ but if that is the case then there would be two Mike’s one from the Science earth and one from the Magic earth meaning two sets of memory patterns, this “other Mike” that you say we are experiencing wouldn’t have the old Mike’s memory and vice versa especially if we are getting into alternate realms. Personally I think this has something to do with the time he spent in that room in the town maybe that powder he sneezed up along with a bump to the head did something to him? It also could explain Fawn fitting into this (other than the spirit bond) because she inhaled the powder as well.

Not exactly. Think of it this way: Only think of one reality at a time. Bardsworth world and the earth. They are not the same world, but they coexist, suggesting another planet. Mike can goback and forth with relatively simple means. It may be another planet for all we know, but they exist simultaneously. Now add a parallel universe and swap the two planets\’ timelines except for the characters.

    I dunno. It’s just a theory.

Sorry. Glitchtastic computer 8P I also was going to say that while Mike#2 would have a different memory, he would have a similar backstory, but he’d keep his origins secret better because magic is so much harder to explain to a noob. I mean, think about it. Telling someone about electricity versus talking about levitating something without airflow or magnets. Magicians in most stories only know how to use it rather than how it works.
