Tastes like you dipped a chocholate biscotti in it.

I would think of chocolate chip cookie flavor as more likely to be hot chocolate or coffee than tea… but it could still be nice, and I’m sure Mike will like it.

That’s the great thing about writing for a fantasy world – anything goes!

In reality, I think if one knew enough about teas and the flavorings that go into them, one could concoct something with a subtle chocolate chip cookie flavor.

I’m starting to see the possibilities in this, actually… probably something to do with bits of roughly crushed cocoa in the tea bag, maybe some of that butter flavoring like they sometimes use in icing… vanilla bean? Could you fit vanilla bean in there? Question is, how does one make it that sweet inherently while in the bag–or do you just add your own sugar, like normal tea?

I would think that it be mostly in the aroma and the taste would be rather subdued, not actually sweet. I don’t know a whole lot about flavored teas, but my experiences with them are that the taste is more “implied” than in your face.

I have run into some pretty strong-tasting fruit-flavored teas, but I guess it could go either way.
