It’s usually around this time of year that I start anticipating upcoming conventions and festivals. I love doing them; they’re a pain in the butt to prepare for, exhausting to set up and tear down, and something inevitably goes wrong. But they’re usually some of the most fun I have the whole year.
Unfortunately, this year we have made the decision not to be at any conventions or shows (with a possible exception; see below). The past few years we’ve taken quite a few financial blows at various conventions, craft shows, and festivals. We just couldn’t afford to do it another year. Instead, we’ll be focusing on building up ourselves online and creating more merchandise for future appearances.
However, I’m still willing to make appearances at any conventions/shows/festivals that are willing to help me get there. If travel expenses are paid for, even partially, I will consider attending as a guest. And not just to sell merchandise, but I’ll run panels or even special events. So if you’d like to see me at a nearby convention/show/festival, contact the people in charge and pass along my information.
Otherwise, I’ll always be here on the internet. Just for you.
That’s okay man you’ve gotta do what’s best for you. As long as you get to do an interview for my blog still it’s all good!
